Cinephobia Releasing is bringing THE GOLDSMITH to VOD/streaming platforms and DVD October 12. The Italian shocker was directed by Vincenzo Ricchiuto from a script he wrote with Germano Tarricone, and it stars Giuseppe Pambieri, Stefania Casini from Dario Argento’s SUSPIRIA and Paul Morrissey’s BLOOD FOR DRACULA, Gianluca Vannucci, Tania Bambaci and Andrea Porti. The synopsis: “A group of young thieves break into an older couple’s home, looking for valuable jewelry but the doddering goldsmith [Pambieri] and his wife [Casini] have their own plans for their ‘guests.’”
