Microbudget ’70s cult fave “INVASION OF THE BLOOD FARMERS” is coming to Blu-ray; art, details, trailer

One of the cheapest schlock shockers ever is getting spiffed up in hi-def by Severin Films for disc release next month. We’ve got the complete info, cover art and a new trailer.

Severin unleashes INVASION OF THE BLOOD FARMERS on Blu-ray February 26, featuring a new transfer scanned from the original negative of the $24,000 production. Ed Adlum directed from a script he wrote with Ed Kelleher, with the SNUFF duo of Michael and Roberta Findlay on board as editor and cinematographer respectively (this team would encore on SHRIEK OF THE MUTILATED), and future David Lynch DP Frederick Elmes as assistant cameraman. The saga of a group of Druids seeking to revive their queen will be accompanied by the following special features:

  • Audio commentary by director Ed Adlum and actress Ortrum Tippel moderated by Kier-La Janisse, author of HOUSE OF PSYCHOTIC WOMEN
