RM’s Ghouls by Gaslight Halloween Party, streaming LIVE tonight!

on October 26, 2012 | Leave a comment

Rue Morgue’s Ghouls by Gaslight 15th Anniversary Halloween Party is going down tonight in Toronto! We’d love to see you there in person, of course, but we realize that isn’t possible for those of you who are far away and either can’t afford your own telepod or are turned off by the possibility of slowing morphing into Jeff Goldblum (seriously, he sneaks into the damn thing every time you turn your back). Starting tonight at 10 p.m. ET, we’ll be streaming live video from the party here. You can enjoy Psychic Surgery, Carrie the Absinthe Fairy, Victorian Torture Harp Séance, our legendary Midnight Costume Contest, Haunting Hymns by DJ Eric Von Eric and Tomb Dragomir, and the wacky antics of host Twitch Couvier, all in the privacy of your home. Creepy? Maybe. Awesome? Definitely. Finally, you can join the Rue Crew without having to drink a single drop of Kiefer Sutherland’s blood. I knew I should’ve waited…

These common threads aren’t necessarily planned and usually aren’t even apparent until we’re in the advanced stages of production. But what happened this morning while we were proofing the RM Digital version of the April issue definitely takes the cake…
