I bid you welcome to Cryptic Collectibles!

Hello, boys and ghouls and welcome to the very first installment of Cryptic CollectiblesIn this space, I hope to make you shudder with delight as I showcase examples of cool horror and monster collectibles – both vintage and recent releases. There’s certainly been no shortage of terrifically terrifying toys and creeptastic cinematic memorabilia  produced throughout the years and it’s my wish to provide a platform – a virtual display case, if you will – to show off some fiendishly frightful figures, malevolent model kits, bloodcurdling books, petrifying poster art, chilling comics and more.

My own interest in monster toys and horror film memorabilia began at an early age and I was bitten by the collecting bug well before I was 10 years old. Fortunately, I was lucky enough to have parents who didn’t object to buying me a Power Records Curse of the Werewolf book and record set or a Remco Mini Monsters Dracula figure. Nearly 30 years later, I still have those items, and numerous others – some of which I will share with you here.

So, join me as I rummage through my display shelf of dread and toybox of terror to unearth some Cryptic Collectibles – if you dare!!!

Looking forward to this section. Horror collectibles don’t nearly get as much attention as they should.

I love the old Remco Mini Monsters! I was lucky to find Dracula a flea market several years ago.
