“I Want My Two Dollars!”

Better Off Dead is one of the greatest comedies of the ’80s, and a highlight is the running gag where the paperboy stalks our hero, Lane (John Cusack), in pursuit of the two dollars he owes the kid for delivery services.  The whole thing is a riff on horror films of the era, and I particularly love the scene in the park, which has a John Carpenter The Fog/Christine vibe going on. Someone put all the paperboy scenes together in one handy YouTube vid for your viewing pleasure.  It’s been a favourite around the RM offices. We want this kid to work in the collection department.

Still having problems embedding video, so you can click here to watch it. TWO DOLLARS!
