On Thursday October 30, The Tattoo Factory Gallery will host a show dedicated to legendary icon Tura Satana! Called “Tura! Tura! Tura!” with Tura Satana in person! The show feature’s a who’s who list of great artists from the lowbrow art world. 

Shag, Niagra, Mitch O’Connell, Ron Murphy, Extremo, Mister Reusch and many, many more great artists will be contributing to the show.

Also, to coincide with the gallery show, they will be screening “Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!” at the Music Box Theatre, the night before on Wednesday, October 29th, with a Q&A conducted by Rusty Nails.

If that wasn’t cool enough, our friends at Roq la Rue is exhibiting three painters, who’s dark imagery salute the colder hours of fall and the halloween season. Sounds up are ally.

The show features painter Dan Quintana, who’s been called a Bosch for the 21st century, concept artist Jeremy Bennett (Lord of the Rings, King Kong) displays his brimstone landscapes and Rue Morgue favourite Chet Zar (RM #) will bring his creepy monster creations.

The show opening will happen on October 10th (with the artists in attendance) and will run until November 7th, 2008.
