Live on Fresh FM, London Radio

If you happen to be an early riser, (which is doubtful if you’re as nocturnal as I am), I’ll be live on London Ontario’s 1031 Fresh FM October 31, on the Big D, Mindy and Gord morning show at 8:40 a.m. You can tune into the show on their website by clicking the “Listen Live” link. I’ll be hooking up the coffee IV and picking some good and bad horror films from the past year.

I get up at 8:30 in the fucking morning (I wasn’t even sure they still made an 8:30 a.m., it’s been so long since I’ve seen one) and I’ve spent the better part of an hour trying to get the live feed to load! You must be one popular mutha to bog down there site. Hope the show ent well anyway, bro.

Dude thanks for hauling yourself outta bed! Sorry about that. I just heard from Gord. Here’s why no one could log on:

    ***
We’re having massive computer and power problems here cuz the whole
downtown core is flooded from a water pipe explosion.
    ***

I’ll post the file when I have it.

  1. [...] So here’s that live radio bit I mentioned earlier that I did on Halloween for Fresh FM in London, Onterrible. I should note that Gord Vickman, co-host with Big D and Mindy, is an old friend and room mate from Toronto who landed a radio gig in London a few years ago and was a huge support back in the early days of Rue Morgue. Also, listening back to the clip, I’m well aware that Ennio Morricone was responsible for the John Carpenter’s The Thing. I actually meant to say “Escape From New York” but it was way early in the morning so cut a brother some slack! [...]
