October is easily the best month of the year because all those stuffy old news outlets, mags and online ‘zines that typically have nothing to do with horror start dredging up stories to suit the Halloween season. Sure, some are hokey as hell, but once in a while you happen across a gem, something particularly cool and informative. Just like this one. So, if you’re into haunted houses and ghosts (that go bump in the night), check out this haunted home round-up by This Old House.
After reading this, all I can say is, I NEED to stay at the Winchester Mystery House, really REALLY need to. Stairways and doors that go nowhere? Oh yeah, sign me up!

Wicked post Monica. Just looking at those pics gets the goosebumps going. Television channels also jump on the jack-o-lantern bandwagon, digging up creepy stories for broadcast. October is the only month I really miss cable when I can catch some of the Halloween programs on A&E and the History channel.
