With WOLFCOP making the rounds on the convention circuit (including our very own Festival of Fear Vancouver this weekend ), it seems only fitting to give you the heads-up on a wicked-cool side project: An Indiegogo campaign has been started to get a WolfCop action figures in your grubby little mitts!
We could tell you more, but we thought we’d let the WolfCop crew tell you themselves:
“GREETINGS! indie film fans, monster-lovers, comic hounds, underground collectors and Indiegogo allies…
We’re BIG KIDS from Regina, Moose Jaw and Saskatoon (yes, real places in Saskatchewan Canada). We’re the creators and filmmakers behind WolfCop, a horror-comedy set to release in Canadian theatres June 6 and around the world in early September 2014 (yesss! it’s really a movie). We can’t wait to unleash WolfCop to our growing pack of fans — and we have special film perks here. But we also believe WolfCop has a ton of otherworldly potential and we want to expand his universe… **YOUR FUNDING SUPPORT WILL HELP US TAKE WOLFCOP BEYOND THE BIG SCREEN — WORLDWIDE!**Next to transforming WolfCop for the big screen, designing a killer toy is WolfCop monster-maker Emersen Ziffle’s dream come true. Our first funding goal of $10,000 will allow us to make the molds we need to send the WolfCop toy into production. Emersen is teaming up with Erick Scarecrow of ESC Toysto create the collectible.”
You know you want one of these, right? Of course you do. So head on over to the Indiegogo page and get a look at all the incentives being offered up for donations. And don’t forget, Rue Morgue’s Dave Alexander will be hosting a special panel with cast and crew of WOLFCOP at Festival of Fear Vancouver on Saturday,11 AM in Room 118 at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
