Rue Morgue And Netflix Team Up Again

on October 21, 2013 | 2 Comments

Once again, Rue Morgue is teaming up with Netflix Canada to curate a list of horror titles on the service that l’il old me, the Editor-in-Chief, has chosen (note: these are on the Canadian Netflix). I’ll be doing interviews about the films, horror movies in general and Rue Morgue in the weeks leading up to Halloween.  The list is below; I went with titles that represent a mix of old, new, mainstream and more obscure.  Among the titles below, The Loved Ones, The Walking Dead, The Omen, The Blair Witch Project, Pumpkinhead, Pan’s Labyrinth and The Fly have appeared on the cover of Rue Morgue. As always, I’m excited to talk about some under-the-radar titles, some classics that deserve another look and even a few fave mainstream picks. Here’s the list; hope you find something on there worth a look.

The Loved Ones Pan’s Labyrinth
Walking Dead Session 9
Hemlock Grove Young Frankenstein
The Omen The Legend of Hell House
Event Horizon Would You Rather
Insidious The Reef
Blair Witch Project Hitchcock
Child’s Play Being Human (UK)
Pumpkinhead The Fly

Solid list. Are they going to do a contest again this year? That was fun last time.

Sounds like a great idea, and that’s a solid list of films. I missed out on this last year so I’m a bit unsure of the format. Do your interviews appear as a bonus section of Netflix’s streaming package for each film? Or are they available online elsewhere?
