Ghost Unleashes New Video, “Secular Haze”
Swedish metal band, Ghost, have released a music video for “Secular Haze,” a single featured on their upcoming album, Infestissumam (out April 9.) The bare-bones video features Papa Emeritus II (formerly Papa Emeritus) and the cloaked Nameless Ghouls in a performance that much resembles their stage show. While the video is a straight-forward, old-television-style affair, Ghost-starved fans will enjoy a glimpse of Papa Emeritus II’s new look. Plus, the song kicks serious ass! Check it out here.
The beloved satanic sweethearts premièred “Secular Haze”, along with a cover of ABBA’s “I’m a Marionette,” at a special show in their hometown of Linköping on December 15, 2012. Since then they have announced a new persona for their mysterious frontman, Papa Emeritus II (replacing the original Papa Emeritus in name and costume only), and also changed their name to Ghost B.C. in the US for legal reasons.
Dates for the Haze Over America tour are now posted on the official Ghost site, where you can also preorder Infestissumam.
