Doug Hudson of Xing Frame Films has announced plans for new project entitled SQUATCH.  He hopes to raise money for the film using a Kickstarter crowd funding campaign which has recently been launched.

According to Hudson,  SQUATCH will bring a tense and scary version of Bigfoot to audiences.  It will be a return to the tales of Sasquatch and The Legend of Boggy Creek.  A modern take on an ancient legend, based on actual events!

Doug Hudson has been designing and creating creature, animatronics and special make-up effects for major Hollywood films for the past 20 years.  He’s worked on titles such as Outbreak, Jurassic Park/Lost World, and Ace Ventura/When Nature Calls and has been a vested member of SAG for over 20 years.   He founded  Xing Frame Films in 2009 which produces films in the Pacific Northwest, bringing big budget production value to independent films.

Synopsis:

SQUATCH is a full length FEATURE FILM that tells the story of 4 College friends & classmates that are taking a weekend camping/hiking trip in the Pacific Northwest.  They inadvertently cross paths with a giant killer Sasquatch that is stalking them.  One by one the beast is picking them off…or is he?  It now becomes a fight for survival to make it out alive.  The story jumps back & forth with our Park Rangers that are investigating the disappearance of the young college kids.  What our hero Park Ranger doesn’t know is that there is some sort of cover-up that goes very deep.  A taboo legend of ancient Indian lore!
