RUE MORGUE PODCAST – JOHN HYAMS VOL. I

Here it is – the first of my two-part interrogation with Mr. John Hyams, director of Universal Soldier 4: Day of Reckoning and the son of veteran filmmaker Peter Hyams, the man behind such classics as Capricorn One (1977) and 2010: The Year We Make Contact (1984).
But before you say, wait a minute – Universal Soldier 4 isn’t a horror movie. Think again. It’s one of the most blood-curdling American action films ever made – a bone-crunching onslaught of mayhem where ‘action’ meets ‘splatter!’ It’s a jaw-dropper.
Magnet Releasing have it in a limited theatrical run in the U.S. and on VOD at the moment. Early in 2013, Sony Pictures will release it on DVD and 3D Blu-ray!
Endure.

Great show!
It was great to hear Mr. Hyams talk a little bit about his father, whom I am a huge fan of. And I need to hunt down his documentary. It sounds BRUTAL.
Also, I’m shocked….SHOCKED, I tell ya!…that YOU, Feedback, of all people…..pulled out a PHANTOM MENACE clip!
