Clive Barker opens art archive
Some very cool news just came my way via RM‘s own Ron McKenzie. It seems that Clive Barker has opened his art archive and is releasing a limited number of posters and giclees for purchase. Every piece in this collection comes directly and exclusively from Barker’s California studio. You can drop a wad of cash if you have it – some of the giclees will set you back $250 – but there are several posters available for as little as $10. Get ‘em while the gettin’s good, though, as once they’re gone – well, you know.
Here’s a bit from the press release:
“Never before has Clive Barker opened his personal archives, offering a rare opportunity to view and purchase limited edition giclees, posters – some signed and editioned. Imagery includes posters of pen and ink drawings from the mid-1990’s; posters from prior gallery exhibitions, classic Barker imagery like “The Arsonist”, “Door to the Primal Room”, “The Lighthouse” from Abarat, “Pinhead” and more. Select posters, prints and giclees are available in a range of prices, beginning at $10, with artist signed pieces starting at $70. Various sizes and subjects are available in very limited supply.”
