Win tickets to Nightbreed: The Cabal Cut with Anne Bobby in Chicago

on June 27, 2012 | 18 Comments

Terror in the Aisles 11 is coming up on Friday, July 13 in Chicago, and it’s shaping up to be a hell of a show. For starters, the event marks the Midwest premiere of the new, extended “Cabal Cut” of Clive Barker’s Nightbreed, with star Anne Bobby and restoration director Russell Cherrington appearing in person. This version of the film is 45 minutes longer than the theatrical release, and it’s as close as we’ll ever get to the vision that was swimming around in Barker’s mad, beautiful mind all those years ago. (Fear not, Torontonians: You’ll get a chance to see this awesome, 155-minute version of the film on July 19 at Rue Morgue’s monthly Cinemacabre screening!)

Besides the new cut of Nightbreed, Terror in the Aisles will also feature Hellraiser and Candyman, both screening from 35mm film prints!

Here’s the current show information:

I lured you here with the promise of a ticket giveway, so let’s get to it. Rue Morgue and Terror in the Aisles are giving away two pairs of tickets to the event. To enter, all you have to do is this:

Name two movies that are based on Clive Barker stories, but not directed by Barker himself.

Easy, huh? Just post your answer in the comments section below and we’ll choose a winner at random on Thursday, July 5. Good luck!
