On this episode, I’m talking to first time Australian director, Sean Byrne, the man responsible for the candy coloured prom night apocalypse, The Loved Ones.
Sean dropped by the Rue Morgue House of Horror way back in 2009 when The Loved Ones took away the audience choice award at the Midnight Madness program at the Toronto International Film Festival.
On June 1st, the film was finally released in the United States in a limited theatrical run via Paramount Insurge.
For more about The Loved Ones, pick up the June issue of Rue Morgue Magazine, issue 123 which also features a spotlight on some of the recent grisly horrors from down under.
Endure,
