Rare Planet of the Apes screening in Toronto

The original Planet of the Apes will screen this Sunday, May 6 at 3:30 pm at Innis College as part of the Toronto Jewish Film Festival. The flick will be introduced by composer Mychael Danna (Moneyball, Hulk, The Sweet Hereafter), who will speak about Jerry Goldsmith’s score and the art of film music from a composer’s perspective. This is a 35mm archival print, so it’s not an opportunity that comes along very often. General admission is $13 ($9 for seniors or students). Five minutes prior to the screening, students with valid ID will be admitted for free from the Rush Line (free student admission is subject to availability). Click here for ticket information.
