The ninth installment of Little Terrors, a monthly short film event co-presented by Rue Morgue and Unstable Ground, goes down this weekend at The Projection Booth in Toronto. The show starts at 9pm on Saturday, May 12. Ten bucks gets you more than two hours of the craziest, goriest short films the programmers could dig up, all projected on the big screen. This month’s theme is Altered Reality; here’s the full lineup:
Torture Porn (11 minutes)

A parody of films such as Saw and Hostel, with a fun twist.
Orange (7 minutes, premiere)
DIR: Jay Clarke
A chance meeting in a park between a man and a woman sparks an unexpected conversation. Featuring actor Jeff Sinasac (Android Re-Enactment, Skhiz, Clutch).
Burn (5 minutes, premiere)
DIR: Jerry Pyle
Brutal short film. The less said, the better.
In Chambers (10 minutes, Norway, premiere)
DIR: Aleksander Nordaas
The reality experienced by those in a coma, as those trapped learn the inner workings of a dark and hostile place. From the creators of the upcoming feature Thale.
Do Not Disturb (15 minutes, premiere)
DIR: Patrick Rea
A dangerous man hides out in a hotel room. As the night progresses, someone’s sinister intentions become known.
T Is For Tantrum (5 minutes)
DIR: Jack Perez
The team behind Some Guy Who Kills People bring their own twisted vision to this short. Part of the ABC’s of Death director search contest.
Walter (16 minutes, premiere)
DIR: Brenden Hill
A day in the life of Walter, who believes himself to be one of the many sons of God. He agrees to take it upon himself to judge everyone he comes in contact with for his ‘father.’
Zomblies (47 minutes)
DIR: David M. Reynolds
When a private militia’s rookie zombie hunters send out a distress call, it’s up to the Rangers to cross The Wall and bring them back. Little do they know, a horrifying new breed of zombie awaits them.
