How does one celebrate World Goth Day, you ask? If one is part of a lo-fi punk act called Grave Babies, one does it by releasing a tongue-in-cheek video so full of Ouija boards, flickering candles, big hair, analog noise and creepy guys in body stockings that it could have come straight out of my high school time capsule. The song, eloquently titled “Fuck Off,” is a track from the Seattle-based band’s latest EP, Gothdammit (out now from Hardly Art). Embrace your inner Goth (or someone else’s) and check it out.
