God told me to post this

Okay, it wasn’t actually God, it was the fine folks who organize the Terror in the Aisles events in Chicago. And they didn’t so much tell me to do it as ask politely, but “God told me to” sounds way creepier, don’t you think? And it’s appropriate, since Terror in the Aisles is presenting a free Larry Cohen double feature this Thursday night, featuring an appearance by the man himself! You can meet Cohen and see two of his films — the 1976 shocker God Told Me To and the US premiere of Cohen’s top-secret new project — on May 3 at Chicago’s Portage Theater. In keeping with the Terror in the Aisles tradition, autographs and pics are free. Hell, this time around, the whole thing is free! Read on for details, and please help spread the word about this very cool event.
