Horror Panels Announced for the March ComiCON!
Next weekend, March 10/11, the Toronto March ComiCon show happens at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Though smaller (and also less expensive!) than the Fan Expo in August, which features the Festival of Fear, there’s still horror fun to be had.
Here’s a rundown of the stuff I programmed:
Hobos, Shotguns and Grindhouse Insanity: a conversation with Jason Eisener
Saturday, 12p.m, 801B, hosted by the Gore-met.
The Fine Art of Torture and Terror, with Darren Lynn Bousman
Saturday, 2p.m., 801A, hosted by Aaron Von Lupton
It’s Not Just a Movie… Repo! The Genetic Opera and Beyond, with Darren Lynn Bousman and Terrance Zdunich
Sunday 12pm, 801B hosted by Last Chance Lance
Adventures in Canadian Genre Movies, with Vincenzo Natali and Jason Eisener
Sunday 2p.m., 801B, hosted by Dave Alexander
You’ll also get a chance to meet these guests at the Rue Morgue booth, which will be right near the bottom of the escalators. And, even better, most of them are signing for FREE!
Other guest of interest to horror fans include Kristanna Loken (Bloodrayne, Terminator 3), Edward Furlong (Brainscan, Pet Sematary II, Terminator 2, Pecker) and Charisma Carpenter (Buffy the Vampire Slayer). And Squid Lid is gonna be there too!
See the full schedule here.
Buy tickets here. All Access day passes are $20, All Access weekend pass is $30.
Hope to see you critters there…

Cool! I’m stoked to be kicking off RM’s presence at Comicon. Jason’s a real cool car and I expect this will be a ton of fun. Don’t miss it!
