ONLINE SERIES “BITE ME” CASTS GAMERS AS ZOMBIE-BASHING HEROES
The makers of the animated web series Xombie have returned with a new online zombie series which premiered recently on YouTube. Bite Me is a five-episode series about three socially retarded roommate gamers who get a chance to put their zombie knowledge and years of video game monster bashing to use when the dead rise.
Co-producers Machinima, who also produced the animated Terminator Salvation series, have used their partnership with video game developer Capcom to have our hapless heroes Greg, Jeff and Mike playing the Dead Rising 2 zombie video game as the outbreak begins. The first two episodes are online now and available to view here: Bite Me on YouTube.
It is early days but this seemed like fun. It remains to be seen if the geeks inherit the earth.
